"You CAN-CERvive!" When Rita Ricks learned she had breast cancer in 1999, she stopped.... to listen. She has never let anyone or anything stand in her way of succeeding and managing this situation was no different. Rita survived and is an inspiration to those who have been touched, in some way, by a life changing illness. During this experience, Rita draws upon her strength of purpose, perseverance, warmth and wit to talk openly about accepting and fighting, preventing reoccurrence and celebrating the survival.
