I just wanted to thank you and The Atlanta Showstoppers for everything! Our guests are still talking about how great your performance was as well as what a great time they had at the reception. Our wedding would not have been as much of a success without you. Thank you so much for being easy and flexible to work with. It helped they whole evening go smoothly. Two couples that attended our wedding (the Tetricks and the Laings) enjoyed The Atlanta Showstoppers so much that they have booked you for their weddings. They are extremely excited to have you all perform at their wedding receptions!

The Showstoppers were AMAZING!!! People from both Atlanta and New Orleans have not stopped talking about them. There have been comments such as, "They were the best wedding band that I've ever heard!!" Hill and I would not change a thing about them. Not only did they sound fantastic, but they were extremely easy to work with. Glen is such a nice guy, and he really does care about his clients. Thanks so much for all of your help Rick, and I hope you have had a great summer!

I hope you are doing well. I just wanted to let you know that the Atlanta Showstoppers were absolutely fantastic at our wedding on 5/22. We have both been to many weddings, and I can honestly say this was the best band by far. Glenn Carvin and the band were all very professional, responded to our song requests (including learning a special song), and kept the party going all night! We received many compliments from our guests as well, many who told us that was the best wedding band they have heard. I would throughly recommend them to your clients who might be looking for a great band at a very reasonable price! Thanks very much for suggesting them and if we ever need a band in the future we will surely be repeat customers!

Wow! What an amazing evening. After a beautiful wedding celebration and gathering on the lawn at the Grand Hotel, the doors were opened to the Grand Ballroom once the wedding party arrived. From the First Dance with Jennifer and Philip till the last dance the party didn't stop! The entire night the dance floor was packed and everyone was filled with the beat of the music! The range of music was amazing, each selection was upbeat and sounded like the original artist. The Atlanta Showstoppers were first class and did an amazing job bringing everyone together to enjoy the celebration. Now a week later we are still hearing from friends and family about the amazing band and music at Jenn and Philip's Wedding.

I speak for Caroline and myself when I say that you and the band did a fantastic job for our wedding. From our first dance (which was impressively performed) to the last, when we were up on stage dancing, every song was perfect! I have talked to so many people that attended the reception that were raving about the band. I will continue to pass recommendations along to other friends of mine that are getting married in the next year or two.

Just a short note to tell you thanks for recommending the Atlanta Showstoppers to us for The Moses wedding party. I was the person who took care of them, and they were just awesome folks and so nice and personable. They all were so professional, courteous, and kind too. I really enjoyed getting to know them all. But the best part is how they took over the party scene with the most unbelievable array of songs that fit everyone's genre. This band has vocals that will match any band. The musicians are all talented and can play any type of music. They had great energy, and only took 1 short break....I have never seen so many people on a dance floor at one time with wedding clothes on partying and dancing like they were at an inaugural ball or the Super Bowl! When I say they are great, this does not do justice for their sound, vocals, music quality, stage show, or party atmosphere they created. They were simply awesome. In closing, I want to say I would give them my highest recommendation for any level of party desired, as they are ready to play for the President also! They exceeded our expectations and the wedding party feels like they got a bargain in them looking at it financially. If anyone would ever like me to give them a testimonial, feel free to have them call me or email me personally as I am one of their biggest fans now!

Glenn, I cannot thank you and the band enough for making our wedding such an incredible event!! Everyone I talk to who was there comments about how incredible y'all are and what a fun time they had! Y'all truly exceeded my expectations. Rob and I both had a wonderful time at our wedding dancing, and I have y'all to thank for that. You are wonderful musicians and did a fantastic job. It was great getting to meet you as well. Hopefully some of my friends will use y'all for their weddings and we'll meet again. I thought you might like to see the pictures from the night, so I've included links to our photographers' website below. Thank you again so much,

Rick, Just wanted to let you know what a fabulous show the Atlanta Showstoppers put on at our daughters wedding. I had 25 to 30 people tell me during the evening that they were the best band they had ever heard. They played a great variety of songs that sounded as good or better than the original artist. The dance floor was so full the entire evening, that at one point people were dancing on the stage and the band never missed a beat. Glenn was a pleasure to work with and all the band members were very professional, friendly, and engaging. I was a little nervous in that we had never heard them before but I could not have been anymore pleased. Once again thank you for recommending the Atlanta Showstoppers.

The Showstoppers were AMAZING! Glenn was fabulous to work with prior to the wedding and during the reception! The band played such a great variety of music! Our guests were completely blown away by their sound and variety and we had several guests who are getting married in the near future who asked for their name. I'll pass along your contact information to them:) Thank you for all of your help!

have had so many guest come up and comment on what a great show the Atlanta Showstoppers put on. This was the 102nd year of the Redstone Christmas Ball and everyone agreed it was a total success and possibly the best ever. An event such as ours which includes a formal presentation followed by a dance can be tough to program for. Our guests ranged from the college age presentees to their grand parents and great grandparents. You and the Atlanta Showstoppers performed exactly as requested by playing selections that appealed to all ages early in the evening and therefore filled up the dance floor from the minute you hit the stage. As the night progressed you gradually picked up the tempo and continued to keep the dance floor crowded for the whole evening. I was amazed that up until the last song we still had many of our older members on the floor as well as a crowd of the college age dancers. It is no small feat to get 21 young ladies dressed in formal ball gowns and white gloves to kick off their heels grab their dates and dance late into the night, but you guys performed that feat. I will be referring the Atlanta Showstoppers to any of my friends who need a great band for a corporate event, wedding or ball. Yours is the type of band which makes one almost want to invent a reason to have a party.

I can't thank you enough for making our wedding FANTASTIC! Everyone was absolutely raving about you guys--you did an amazing job and we had the time of our lives. So happy you got to meet a few planners in person (the rest in the crowd were equally impressed!)

Kenny and I would love to take this time to tell you how wonderful you all were at our recent wedding reception. The amount of talent in all of the band members was at it's best totally awesome!! The volume of the music was at it's best, not too loud that we couldn't visit with our friends, but just perfect! The joy that you brought to all of us will never be forgotton, and for that a "BIG" Thank you. As for myself, a cancer survivor, you brought to me many blessings of being able to hear the song as I danced with my son, "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Grobin. The gentlman who sang that song gave my son and I a moment together that we will cherish forever....He was tremendous!! Thank you for your gift of song, and God Bless

We have to thank YOU! It was an amazing evening and the Atlanta Showstoppers played a big role! I am so glad we chose you for this year's Gala and I would love to see you play again at our Gala next year. We haven't picked out the date but it will be the last Saturday in September or the first one in October. Please mark those two dates already if you don't mind and let me know if you have other people interested in those dates.

The Atlanta Showstoppers are the Absolute Best Band!!! The horns led our precious bride and groom into the reception playing "I'm Going To The Chapel And I'm Going To Get Married" which set the festive, fun mood for the evening! Having an at home wedding had it's challenges. Even though the electrical transformer at the street had been upgraded several months ago, it decided to blow with the increase power required and put us in "Black out wedding mode"! But the Atlanta Showstoppers kept the party going strong! I did not know how important it is to have a great horn section! They were unstoppable! And the very second the power returned, it was Non Stop dancing fun! From the amazing versatility of their song list to the awesome musicians and spectacular vocalists, this band can not be beat! The level of service was off the charts even under these adverse conditions. With this fabulous level of musical talent, the bands cohesiveness was inspiring. They are all in sink with each other and realize the importance of their contribution to the Whole Event. JR, with East Coast Entertainment, Glen Carvin, with The Atlanta Showstoppers and all the terrific band members and crew, YOU ARE OUTSTANDING!

The Atlanta Showstoppers were fabulous. I don't think I have ever seen people having such a good time dancing and listening to a band. The dance floor was full the entire night and I have had numerous letters, e-mails and phone calls about what a wonderful time people had and asking me where the band came from and who they were. The Atlanta Showstoppers are so talented and totally know how to work the crowd for a perfect evening. Glen, you could not have been nicer to work with and you and the band did everything we asked and more!! I know East Coast Entertainment only represents the best and Atlanta Showstoppers should be at the top of their list. Thank you again for helping to make our daughters wedding reception a HUGE success.

"Walker and I just made it to Washington and honestly we both can't even put into words how much FUN we had thanks to the Atlanta Showstoppers...you all made the reception and everyone was on the dance floor wanting more! Your sound, style and ability to play almost any type of music and just kill it was AMAZING!!! The lead male vocalist was unbelievable but I have to say I sure liked the lovely ladies on both the left and right...I just couldn't get enough...I would have danced all night to you guys playing!!! People will be talking about you guys forever! Thank you so much of everything!!!

First, I was struck by your humility. It told me instantly that your band's talent was real and didn't have to be propped up by insincere showboating. When the music, accompanied by your voices began, it was like liquid electricity poured forth in the room. People stopped talking and turned to look.We could have been sitting in a concert hall, your style and quality were so soul piercing. The musicians played to perfection--- from the drummer to the guitarists , the keyboard player --all topped off by the horns and sax--created goosebumps! The richness of the two womens' voices with yours, and the band's amazing variety were so enjoyable with each new song. I just drank it in with appreciation. There was never a time the whole evening that I was jarred by a glaring mistake. While you performed a range from Frank Sinatra to Aretha to rap, the crowd was mesmerized. The dancing was non-stop. We have received cards, emails and long distance calls from friends that came from Germany, China, NYC, California, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Washington, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Florida, South Carolina, Texas and Iraq, about how your band blew them away. When we started planning the wedding, the bride and groom wanted a DJ because "the bands never sound as good as the records---so why waste the money?" My husband and I really fought to have you. During the reception, they both came to say that you were absolutely the best thing about the reception and to thank us for having hired you. In short, you made a loving wedding, the most absolutely perfect memory for a lifetime. Many soldiers and their families will re-play this sterling, good memory in their minds, during their tough and lonely deployments---and that is what we were after. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Mother of the Groom

I am the father of the groom. You've heard from everyone so you might as well hear from me. Your group was fantastic. I am not so much a band expert as I am a person who realizes when a special event takes place. This was an event of relationships. Yes the wedding of Becca and Walker was incredible. We also had 14 active duty Army soldiers and their wives etc. We also had 5 parents of the active duty soldiers. All of these guys have had extensive deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Several were head back for another deployment. Walker will go to Afghanistan for his forth deployment in December. Most of these guys had not seen each other since graduating from West Point in 2005. My son Walker got to spend the most important day of his life with his wonderful Becca and to hug long lost soldier friends. Your band made this a very special night for these guys. You made them feel proud. You made them feel special. You gave them a great time and to be able to share this with their families. Yes your performance was excellent. Even more importantly your attitude towards these kids made them feel special. I have a saying-"you can't teach class". Your group has class because of the way you treated these soldiers. I would strongly recommend your group for your talent but more importantly for your ability to make these special kids feel appreciated.

I want to thank you and the rest of the Atlanta Showstoppers for the first class entertainment you provided at Becca and Walker's wedding. Your band is incredible and is the perfect choice for a wedding reception. Thank you, too, for your excellent communication with Becca in planning the song list. The memories of the flowers, food and decor will fade, but we will never, ever forget the band!

It was a pleasure to have the Atlanta Showstoppers at the Figure 8 Island Yacht Club. The band sounded fantastic and people are still talking about how much fun they had. I can't wait to have you back...and neither can my members! Word normally travels fast around such a small island, but news about the Showstoppers had traveled before the night even ended!

I've actually just dropped you a note in the mail, but it can't hurt to reiterate how grateful I am for your help in finding the Atlanta Showstoppers to be our wedding band! As I mentioned countless times in emails, we wanted a band who could really lead the night in to being a super fun party. And they did it! You know, Jamie and I didn't really think about the fact that we hadn't even heard our band live until right when we got out on the dance floor (we had just a few other things going on :). But when they started with Jack Johnson, and we heard them pull it off almost as well as the real thing, we knew we were in for a great night.

I had more people tell me what a great band they were, and it was nice to be able to tell them how professional and accommodating they were as well. Glenn was really intent on talking back and forth so that he had a good idea of what we were looking for and the environment we wanted to create for our wedding reception. I was so appreciative.

All in all, it was the greatest night of our lives (for so many reasons), and I appreciate the part you played.
Molly

“Twenty-five years of catering wedding receptions is enough to write a Wedding Book. We were recently introduced to the Atlanta Showstoppers for an outside “Father of the Bride” style wedding reception in Augusta, and our town is upside down! They appealed to every member of the audience and the dance floor stayed full all night. I was happy to have the food upstaged by the band because we enjoyed them, too!”

“The Atlanta Showstoppers were the perfect band for my 70th birthday party. They played a perfect mix of laid back music during the sit down dinner and then brilliantly picked it up for the duration of the party. We got so many compliments. Glenn handled all the details so we didn’t have to worry about anything. I want them back for my 80th!”
Stanley Slutzky

What a great band! They played for my daughter's wedding and were unbelievable! The song selection was so much better than any other cover band I had ever heard and everything they played sounded just like the original artists - even better in some cases. The vocals are as good as it gets and those horns are killer. When I heard them play another venue a few weeks later, they were just as good the second time.
