Coffee began as a musical collaboration in the early 70s, but after a lengthy hiatus, the musical concept proved too habit forming to remain dormant. During the interim, keyboardist David Mondebello became a mainstay in the vibrant French Quarter, New Orleans music scene. Bass player David Hyde pursued producing, recording and a performing career with the likes of Chuck Berry, The Hollies and Delbert McClinton.

The hard work won maturity and experience of those diverse paths helped the favorite flavor of the past achieve a new level of intensity and satisfaction to the delight of audiences everywhere.
