Their arrangements are unique and inventive, always seeking a new approach to everything they do. Matthew's style on guitar and vocals are a unique blend somewhere bewteen George Benson & Eric Clapton, with influences ranging from Wes Montgomery to Stevie Ray Vaughan, from Kenny Burrell to Jimi Hendrix, Ray Charles to the Temptations, as well as many others. His style is a melting pot of many great artists and flow out of him in an effortless form.
Matthew Thomas and his band can perform as a trio, quartet, quintet, or larger depending on the needs and budget of the client and the event. With a collection of some of the best musicians Atlanta has to offer, Matthew Thomas and his Band provide a great mix of music for all types of events: private events, corporate events, cocktail receptions, Country Clubs, Galas, Weddings, and many others.
